Mar 16, 2012
Chambers Global 2012: The World’s Leadings Lawyers for Business has been released and Osler is honoured to once again be ranked among the best law firms in Canada.
Chambers rankings are based purely on research and not advertising. In fact, the rankings included in Chambers Global 2012 are the result of months of interviews conducted by U.K.-based legal publisher Chambers & Partners: “Since 1990, Chambers has published the world’s leading guides to the legal profession and has built a reputation for in-depth, objective research.”
Chambers uses the following criteria in selecting the world’s best lawyers: technical expertise, business acumen, prompt delivery and value for money.
Osler has over 70 lawyers recognized for their individual expertise. The firm was also recognized in 16 categories (see below) and received a coveted Band 1 ranking in 6 categories, including: Corporate/M&A, Dispute Resolution (Québec), Energy: Oil & Gas, International Trade/WTO, Pensions & Benefits and Tax.
