Andrew MacDougall Partner, Corporate will be presenting “Enhancing Shareholder Engagement as a Governance Tool” at the Canadian Society of Corporate Secretary’s 14th Annual Corporate Governance Conference being held in Vancouver from August 19 to 22, 2012. Andrew’s presentation will include highlighting the regulatory, policy and social trends towards increased shareholder engagement and the related benefits and risks, strategies and techniques to balance these benefits and risks to enable companies to engage with their shareholders more effectively and efficiently, discuss the trends driving increased demands for shareholder engagement and provide insight into the use of new technologies to enhance shareholder engagement.
