Biography
Steven Golick is a senior partner in the insolvency and restructuring group of Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt. He practises in the areas of bankruptcy, insolvency, debtor/creditor, secured transactions, workouts and restructurings. He advises financial institutions, trustees/receivers, secured and unsecured creditors, debtors and purchasers. He acted as adviser to the federal government on amendments to the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act enacted in 1992 and 1997.

Steven is the co-author of several publications, including Guide to Ontario Personal Property Security (a looseleaf service published by Carswell), The Canadian Credit Handbook (published by McGraw-Hill Ryerson Limited), a chapter in Canadian Bankruptcy and Insolvency Law – Bill C-55, Statute c. 47 and Beyond (published by Lexis NexisButterworths), a chapter in Cross-Border Insolvency: A Commentary on the UNCITRAL Model Law (published by Globe Law and Business), Business Bankruptcy Acquisitions (published by ABI) and course handbooks for the Canadian Credit Institute. Steven is a regular contributor to numerous publications, and is a speaker and panellist at conferences and seminars.
