Biography
Dale is Managing Partner and chief executive of Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP and a senior member of its Mergers and Acquisitions Practice Group. She practises business law with a focus on M&A, securities regulation and corporate governance. She has extensive transaction experience leading domestic and multiple jurisdiction transactions relating to public and private merger and acquisition matters and public offerings.
Dale represents Canadian market leaders in various industry sectors with cross-border and international business interests, including the financial services, mining, consumer and pension plan sectors. She has been past chair of the Firm’s Corporate Finance Practice Group, a member of the Securities Advisory Committee to the OSC and a special lecturer at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law and she is currently a member of the Board of Directors of St. Michael’s Hospital. She has participated in numerous panels relating to M&A, corporate finance and securities law topics.
Dale is recognized for her corporate and M&A expertise in the 2010 Best Lawyers in Canada guide, the 2009 Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory and the 2010 edition of Chambers Global: The World’s Leading Lawyers for Business.
