Biography

Danna’s practice focuses on lending transactions, including project finance, infrastructure, syndicated loan facilities, asset-based loan facilities and acquisition loan facilities. She advises domestic and foreign financial institutions and a broad range of corporate borrowers on the negotiation of credit facilities, project finance and infrastructure documents and ongoing compliance with corporate credit facilities.

  • General Motors Limited in its restructuring, warranty program and the negotiation and ongoing compliance with its US$3 billion credit facility.
  • A syndicate of lenders including Bank of Montreal, National Bank of Canada, Ontario Pension Board, Sun Life Assurance Company of Canada, Industrial Alliance Insurance and Financial Services Inc., The Manufacturers Life Insurance Company, BCE Master Trust Fund, The Canada Life Assurance Company in a proposal to Infrastructure Ontario for the Women’s College Hospital Project (bid stage).
  • Sun Life Assurance Company of Canada and The Canada Life Assurance Company in a proposal to Infrastructure Ontario for the Ontario Provincial Police Modernization Project (bid stage).

  • Royal Bank of Canada in the $90 million capital financing of William Osler Healthcare Centre.
  • A multinational energy company in establishing its $1 billion global financing program.
