Aislinn’s litigation practice focuses on health advocacy on behalf of hospitals and other health industry clients. Aislinn represents healthcare clients in a wide range of proceedings, including civil actions, administrative proceedings, human rights matters, regulatory proceedings and Coroner’s Inquests. She has particular expertise in physician credentialing issues, and has been counsel on several precent-setting hospital privileges matters.

Aislinn works closely with Osler’s Health Industry Group. She advises hospital and health industry clients on risk management and policy issues, complex patient relations matters, regulatory matters, human rights, privacy issues and workplace matters and investigations. She also acts for non-physician regulated health professionals in navigating regulatory and disciplinary matters and proceedings.

Aislinn maintains a commercial litigation practice with expertise in complex contractual disputes, class actions, franchise litigation and employment litigation. Aislinn regularly acts for employers across a range of industries defending wrongful dismissals, human rights matters and other employment-related litigation, and advises on employment relationships and terminations.

Aislinn led the Osler Women Lawyers Network (OWLN) from 2016-2019. She currently serves on the executive of the Health Law Section of the Ontario Bar Association and is a regular duty counsel volunteer with Pro Bono Ontario.

Aislinn is an avid runner and three-time Boston Marathon qualifier.

    Goldcorp Inc.: in its successful defence of a claim brought by Barrick Gold Corporation against Goldcorp, Xstrata Chile and New Gold in respect of Goldcorp’s acquisition of a 70% interest in the El Morro mining project in Chile.

    Canadian Chocolate Class Action: acted for a leading international manufacturer of chocolate in respect of antitrust class proceedings throughout Canada.

    General Motors of Canada Limited: in various disputes relating to the restructuring of its dealer network across Canada.
    A casino resort company: in an oppression proceeding under the CBCA.
