Osler congratulates partner Joyce Bernasek on being elected to the Women in Capital Markets (WCM) Board of Directors.
WCM is a national, not-for-profit organization that works to accelerate gender diversity across financial services. Founded in 1995, WCM represents the “largest network of professional women in the Canadian financial sector and the voice of advocacy for women in the industry. The organization works with its sponsors, members and the broader public to move the dial on women’s representation and impact in the boardrooms and executive suites of financial services firms in Canada.”
Joyce, a partner in Osler’s Financial Services Group, regularly represents Canadian and foreign financial institutions, private equity funds and corporations in connection with structuring and negotiating financing transactions including acquisition financings, senior, mezzanine and subordinated debt transactions and debt offerings.
