Osler led the Canadian legal advisor league tables by deal value, at US$3.817 billion ($719 million more than the next closest firm). The firm advised on several major deals for environment, renewable energy, social infrastructure, and transport. These include the Wheatcrest Wind & Solar, Lanfine, Bekevar, 40 Mile, Meikle and Paintearth Wind projects, South Niagara Hospital, East-West Tie Transmission additional financing, among other notable transactions across the sectors.
Canada saw 68 total deals in the sector in 2023. Osler advised on almost one in five deals that closed last year.
