Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP topped our marquis table for debt and equity offerings when ranked by deal value. The firm worked on six deals that raised $7.22-billion.
The strength that pushed Osler to the top of our marquis table clearly comes from the work it did on debt offerings. Osler represented debt issuers in five deals worth $7.2-billion, enough for top spot both in terms of deal value and deal flow.
Highlights of Osler’s rankings in the deal tables include:
- #1 counsel to issuers on combined debt and equity deals, by deal value, with six deals worth a combined value of $7.22 billion.
- #1 counsel to issuers on debt deals, by both deal value and deal count, with five deals with a combined value of $7.2 billion.
- #2 counsel to underwriters on debt deals, by deal count, working on three deals with a combined value of $1 billion.
- Osler also worked on three of the top five biggest debt deals of the quarter, serving as Canadian advisor to Bank of Montreal, Bank of Nova Scotia on three deals worth a total of $6.76 billion.
