Congratulations to Osler partner Shawn Irving on being named amongst the Lexpert Rising Stars – Leading Lawyers Under 40 for 2014.
A partner in our Toronto office, Shawn has a wide-ranging commercial litigation practice with expertise in securities litigation, class actions, insolvency and restructuring, and banking law.
Shawn is an also an active supporter of Osler’s community law program, providing legal support on a pro bono basis to a number of non-profit organizations. A committed mentor to students and associates, he serves on Osler’s student committee and acts as an advisor to associates within the Toronto Litigation Group.
The Lexpert Rising Stars – Leading Lawyers Under 40 awards recognize lawyers in private practice and in-house who are rising stars in the Canadian legal community. Finalists are determined by the Lexpert Advisory Board based on a number of criteria. Winners were announced at a gala dinner on November 20, 2014 in Toronto and will be featured in the November/December issues of Lexpert magazine.
