Financial Times shortlists Osler for North America Innovative Lawyers Awards 2016

Osler is honoured to be shortlisted for the Financial Times North America Innovative Lawyers Awards 2016 for our groundbreaking tax structuring advice in connection with Hybrid Notes issued by Emera as part of US$ 6.2 billion in concurrent offerings used to finance its acquisition of TECO Energy, Inc. Timothy Hughes led the Osler tax team on this transaction.
