The M&A Advisor revealed the winners of its 8th Annual International M&A Awards on April 12, recognizing Osler’s role in advising Comark in its CCAA proceedings – a deal valued at $150 million.
Osler developed and implemented a novel transaction structure which enabled the speciality apparel retailer to continue receiving goods from offshore suppliers on credit, allowing Comark to continue as a going concern. Osler’s team included members of the following practice groups: Insolvency and Restructuring, Litigation, Corporate, Employment and Labour Law, Competition/Antitrust, and Banking and Finance.
The International M&A Awards recognize the leading deal teams, firms and professionals whose activities set the standards for cross-border M&A transactions. This year’s winners were chosen by a judging committee of 19 top cross border M&A industry experts from over 250 finalists.
