Osler is proud to be part of The Panorama Project

Jun 7, 2016

Osler is proud to be a part of The Panorama Project, an action plan developed by the Barreau du Québec that promotes greater ethnocultural diversity and inclusion in the legal profession through recruitment, retention and promotion within the workplace. Through this important initiative, firms and legal departments are invited to sign a pledge to get involved. To date, Osler as well as 20 other firms and legal departments have signed a participation agreement.

As part of the Panorama Project’s official launch on June 9, 2016, Shahir Guindi, Managing Partner of Osler’s Montréal office, provided the opening remarks. During his speech, Shahir touched on a number of points regarding the importance of embracing diversity at work, including the many benefits inclusion can offer. He also thanked Canadians and Québecers who have provided new opportunities to diverse candidates and discussed the importance of equality in judging all candidates on their work, passion, talent and results.
