Financial Post has announced its corporate finance league table results for the third quarter of 2016, and Osler received a #1 ranking as legal counsel to the issuer for debt and equities combined for both deal value and deal count. Osler also ranked #1 as legal counsel to the issuer for debt offerings for both deal value and deal count.
Osler advised on ten financings worth a total of $9.85 billion completed in the third quarter of 2016. Our third quarter transaction experience includes acting for SmartREIT, Chemtrade, Bank of Montreal, Bank of Nova Scotia and various underwriters.
In addition to expertise in capital markets, Osler continues to lead the Canadian M&A rankings for legal advisors. For the first nine months of 2016, Osler received #1 M&A rankings from Thomson Reuters and Bloomberg.
