Osler is proud to be shortlisted for the Financial Times North America Innovative Lawyers Awards 2017 for our innovative Osler Works — Transactional platform that uses cutting-edge technologies, streamlined processes and low-cost resources to provide better value for clients’ legal spend. Osler was recognized in the Business of Law category of the awards, which were announced at an event on December 11 in New York. Shortlists for the awards comprise the top-scoring submissions in each ranking. Our Osler Works platform also earned the prestigious “Highly Commended” distinction in the category of New Business and Service Delivery Models. This distinction, one of the awards’ top honours, is scored based on three categories: originality, leadership and impact.

Under the direction of Natalie Munroe, a seasoned corporate lawyer with experience on Bay Street and Wall Street, Osler Works — Transactional supports our corporate and commercial deal teams by using technology, efficient processes and low-cost resources to provide legal due diligence and closing-related services. Launched in Q4 2016, Osler Works — Transactional is one component of Osler’s three-pronged Osler Works platform, which uses technology and streamlined processes to help the firm deliver practical and cost-effective legal services to its clients. Osler Works — Delivery facilitates the delivery of transparent and efficient legal services rooted in project management principles, and Osler Works — Discovery streamlines the discovery and document review requirements.
