Financial Post has announced its Q2 2017 league table results, and Osler received a #1 ranking as legal counsel to the underwriters for combined debt and equity offerings by value and deal count. Osler advised underwriters on 12 financings worth a total of $7.1 billion completed, including the largest debt deal of the quarter. Highlights of Osler’s rankings in the Financial Post tables also include:
- #2 ranking as legal counsel to the issuer for combined debt and equity offerings
- #1 ranking as legal counsel to the underwriters for combined debt and equity
- #2 ranking as legal counsel to the issuer for equity offerings
- #1 ranking as legal counsel to the underwriters for debt offerings
Osler is also ranked as follows for Q2 2017:
- #1 ranking from Bloomberg as legal counsel to the underwriters for IPOs
- #1 ranking from Thomson Reuters as legal counsel to the underwriters for debt offerings
- #3 ranking from Thomson Reuters as legal counsel to the issuer for debt offerings
- #3 ranking from Thomson Reuters as legal counsel to the underwriters for equity offerings
