Osler is proud to announce our Risk Management and Crisis Response Blog has been recognized by the 2016 Clawbies as Best Practice Group Blog. The annual Canadian Law Blog Awards (the Clawbies) highlight “constructive, enlightening and forward-thinking” blogs from the legal industry, according to the organization’s website.
Our blog earned the award for “drawing in practitioners from multiple areas of law with a common focus on one of clients’ top priorities: the identification of possible risks and what to do when those risks go bad,” according to the Clawbies’ website. The blog also earned praise for its excellent “client perspective.”
The blog was started in 2014 and draws on the experience of a national team to provide information related to proactive prevention and compliance for corporations, while sharing highlights and commenting on significant developments relating to legal, regulatory and organizational threats. The blog’s key editors are Lawrence Ritchie, Alexander Cobb, Shawn Irving, Kevin O’Brien and Geoffrey Grove, with many other Osler lawyers contributing as authors.
