Osler’s Montréal office wins Mérite du français 2018 award

May 18, 2018

Osler is proud to announce that its Montréal office has won a Mérite du français 2018 award. The Mérites du français awards recognize organizations for their accomplishments in promoting the use of French within their business or sector.

Osler’s Montréal office received the Mérite du français in the “Organization of at least 100 employees – Francization Committee” category at a gala hosted by the Office québécois de la langue française on May 17, 2018. The gala took place in Montréal at the salon Urbain in Place des Arts and was presented in collaboration with the ministère de l’Immigration, de la Diversité et de l’Inclusion.

This is the second time that Osler has won this honour. Osler’s Montréal office also won the Mérite du français in the same category in 2013, in addition to winning the Mercuriades “Mérite du français” the same year.

According to the Office québécois de la langue française, winners of the Mérite du français promote the use of high-quality French communications and advance the use of the French language across their various work environments and the Québec public space. The Office québécois de la langue française began giving the awards in 1990 to recognize businesses and organizations whose achievements reflect the vitality and the richness of the French language, at work and in business.
