Osler is pleased to welcome Craig Spurn as a partner in our Energy Practice Group, based in our Calgary office. As a commercial lawyer, Craig focuses on transactions and projects in the energy sector and adds further depth to our fully integrated team of energy experts.
Craig has nearly three decades of experience advising clients on all facets of the energy sector including upstream oil and gas, gas plants and gathering systems, pipelines, LNG projects, oil refineries and in power generation and renewable energy (wind, solar, biomass and cogeneration). Craig has acted for senior, midsized and junior Canadian and foreign energy resource companies, service and technology providers, private capital firms and other investors on a wide range of energy transactions, projects, procurement, energy contracts and joint ventures. Craig also has a significant private equity practice, and he advises clients on inbound investments from international markets including China and Asia.
