Shawn Denstedt assumes new leadership role at Osler as Vice Chair, Western Canada

Long recognized as a strategic business advisor to clients developing some of Canada’s most significant energy projects, Shawn Denstedt, Q.C. will be assuming a new leadership role at the firm, as Vice Chair, Western Canada. In this role, Shawn will leverage his in-depth understanding of our clients’ businesses and significant experience in the energy sector.

Internationally recognized as one of the leading project development lawyers in Canada, Shawn has a long track of success in partnering with clients involved in complex energy projects that often span decades and jurisdictions. Most recently, this has included leading the Osler team advising Kinder Morgan Canada on its proposed Trans Mountain Expansion Project. Shawn’s ability to provide strategic advice to clients undertaking mission-critical projects draws upon a deep understanding of clients’ businesses, an ability to effectively navigate an evolving regulatory landscape, and a passion for supporting sustainable economic development in Canada.
