Osler recognized by GRR 30 as a top cross-border restructuring and insolvency firm for 3rd straight year

Jun 21, 2019

Osler is pleased to once again be recognized in the GRR 30 list as one of the “world’s leading law firms for cross-border restructuring and insolvency matters.” Global Restructuring Review releases this list annually, where it ranks the top 30 standout law firms in the GRR 100, a guide that recognizes outstanding cross-border insolvency and restructuring expertise.

Global Restructuring Review compiles its rankings based on an extensive, months-long research process that includes a series of detailed questionnaires completed by thousands of law firm contacts. Criteria for the first portion of the questionnaire include notable past cases, geographical scope, history of the firm’s insolvency and restructuring practice, key partners, the number and value of the firm’s cross-border cases, and the top 10 insolvency and restructuring matters the firm worked on during the research period.

The second portion of the questionnaire, which informs the GRR 30 list, is based on two key metrics: an analysis of the firm’s top 10 cases and the firm’s performance in Who’s Who Legal: Restructuring & Insolvency, 2019, the sister publication of Global Restructuring Review.

Osler’s Insolvency and Restructuring Practice Group is consistently recognized by leading industry publications for its wide-ranging and top-tier legal expertise in resolving the most compelling business challenges. The group’s team-based, multi-disciplinary approach enables it to deliver innovative and integrated solutions for complex business-critical matters.
