Alex Gorka is a partner in Osler’s Corporate Group in our Toronto office. Alex regularly acts on Canada’s most high profile and complex transactions, delivering practical advice to private and public companies, private equity sponsors, and special committees on a diverse range of strategic mandates. He has unique specialized expertise and policy interest in conflict of interest transactions, having served as special advisor to the mergers branch of the Ontario Securities Commission.
Chima Ubani is a partner in our Corporate Group in Montréal. Chima’s practice focuses on corporate and securities law with an emphasis on private equity/venture capital fund formations and investments, emerging companies, corporate finance and private mergers and acquisitions. Chima has acted for various private equity and venture capital funds in connection with their structuring and formation.
