Brad White and May Cheng recognized in IAM Strategy 300

Osler is pleased to announce that Brad White and May Cheng have been named in IAM Strategy 300: The World’s Leading IP Strategists for 2020.

IAM Strategy 300 identifies the world-class IP strategists who are leading the way in the development and implementation of strategies that maximize the value of IP portfolios. According to IAM, an individual can only qualify for a listing in IAM Strategy 300 if he or she is nominated by at least three people from outside of his or her own organization and further research indicates the nominee has an exceptional skill set, as well as profound insights into the development, creation and management of IP value.

Brad is an IP partner and the Chair of Osler’s Intellectual Property Litigation Group. He practises complex patent litigation, including pharmaceutical proceedings under PM (NOC) Regulations. He also provides strategic advice on the enforcement of patent rights and coordination and management of litigation strategies throughout multiple jurisdictions. A Registered Patent Agent, he specialises in Canadian and foreign patent and industrial design prosecution, strategic IP portfolio reviews, patentability, patent infringement and validity opinions, worldwide patent portfolio management and enforcement advice.

May is a Certified Specialist in Intellectual Property Law (Trade-mark/Copyright) and a partner in Osler’s Intellectual Property Group. She has more than 20 years of experience in advising clients on all aspects of intellectual property protection and enforcement, including branding strategy, acquisition, licensing and anti-counterfeiting. She is regularly involved in a wide variety of IP infringement cases and complex licensing deals.
