Four Osler lawyers recognized as Who’s Who Legal’s Thought Leaders: Global Elite 2020

Osler congratulates Andraya Frith, Jennifer Dolman, Al Meghji and Paul Litner for being recognized as Who’s Who Legal’s Thought Leaders: Global Elite 2020.

This accolade recognizes top lawyers that stand out internationally for their skills in managing a spectrum of corporate transactions, ranging from takeovers to acquisitions to IPOs, and advising clients on an array of corporate issues, including shareholder activism, takeover defence and regulatory compliance.

Inclusion in the guide is based on Who’s Who Legal’s extensive research and interviews with clients and peers. Each year’s edition contains individuals that have earned the highest number of nominations from peers, corporate counsel and other market sources in the analysts’ research cycle.

Andraya Frith is Chair of Osler’s National Franchise and Distribution Practice Group, an elected member of the firm’s Partnership Board as well as Co-Lead of Osler’s Retail Practice Group. She practises business law with an emphasis on franchising, distribution, privacy, and e-commerce law.

Jennifer Dolman is a partner in Osler’s Litigation Group and her practice mainly focuses on assisting Canadian and international franchisors from a variety of industries. Jennifer is an active participant in franchise organizations in Canada and the U.S., and is a frequent speaker and writer.

Al Meghji is a partner in Osler’s Taxation Group. He has a record of success in complex tax litigation matters in various courts and has appeared in the Supreme Court of Canada more frequently than any other Canadian tax litigator.

Paul Litner is Chair of Osler’s Pensions and Benefits Group. His practice focuses on pensions, benefits and compensation plans and their related investment arrangements. Paul regularly advises on pension litigation matters and has appeared before and made submissions to federal and provincial regulators on various pension compliance and surplus matters.
