Andrea’s practice encompasses all areas of pensions and benefits law, including pension administration, investment structuring and compliance and pension issues that arise in the context of transactions, lending and restructurings. Andrea’s practice has a particular focus on pension strategy, governance and fiduciary duty and on pension issues in the context of bankruptcy and insolvency.
Andrea’s practice also includes advising clients on executive compensation matters including the taxation of stock and non-stock based compensation, supplemental pension and retirement compensation arrangements and bonus arrangements.
Andrea understands the unique challenges our clients face when navigating the evolving pensions and benefits legal landscape in Canada and she is frequently called upon for her expertise by government and in litigation matters.
