The following transactions received “Deal of the Year” awards:
Osler acted as counsel to the syndicate of lenders in connection with the $1.9 billion Wataynikaneyap Power Transmission Project.
Osler advised Deloitte Restructuring Inc. in the CCAA proceedings of Stornoway Diamond Corporation and affiliated entities.
Osler acted for Constellation Brands in connection with Canopy Growth’s right to acquire Acreage Holdings.
Osler advised Ventas in its acquisition of a high-quality Canadian seniors housing portfolio valued at $2.4 billion in partnership with Le Groupe Maurice.
Additionally, Osler partner and Chair of the Corporate Group, Emmanuel Pressman, was recognized as “M&A Lawyer of the Year.” Osler also congratulates our Financial Services team on its recognition as “Canada Banking and Finance Team of the Year.”
