Osler recognized in the GRR 30 for the 4th consecutive year

Jan 4, 2021

Osler is proud to be recognized in the GRR 30 list as one of the “world’s leading law firms for cross-border restructuring and insolvency matters” for the fourth consecutive year. The annual list published by Global Restructuring Review ranks the top 30 law firms identified in the GRR 100, a guide that acknowledges outstanding cross-border insolvency and restructuring expertise.

Global Restructuring Review determines its rankings based on an extensive research process that includes a series of detailed questionnaires. The questionnaire is comprised of two parts. The first covers criteria such as notable cases, geographical scope, history of the firm’s insolvency and restructuring practice, key partners, the number and value of the firm’s cross-border cases, and the top 10 insolvency and restructuring matters the firm worked on during the research period. The second part of the questionnaire, which informs the GRR 30 list, is based on two key metrics: an analysis of the firm’s top 10 cases and the firm’s performance in Who’s Who Legal: Restructuring & Insolvency, 2020, the sister publication of Global Restructuring Review.

This ranking upholds Osler as a leading insolvency and restructuring practice in Canada. Being included in the GRR 30 follows a series of honours we have earned in 2020, including recognition by Chambers Canada, Chambers Global, IFLR1000 Canada, The Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory, Best Lawyers, The Legal 500, Who’s Who Legal and Benchmark Litigation. Osler’s Insolvency and Restructuring Practice Group is consistently recognized by leading industry publications for its wide-ranging and top-tier legal expertise in resolving the most compelling business challenges. The group’s team-based, multi-disciplinary approach enables it to deliver innovative and integrated solutions for complex business-critical matters.
