Patricia Kosseim appointed as the new Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario

Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP is pleased to congratulate Patricia Kosseim on her appointment today as the new Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario. She will begin a five year term starting July 1, 2020.

Patricia Kosseim joined the firm in 2018 as counsel to its Privacy and Data Management Practice Group and served as co-lead of Osler’s AccessPrivacy platform, an integrated suite of innovative information solutions, consulting services and thought leadership. Prior to joining Osler, Pat served as Senior General Counsel and Director General at the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. Pat is an acknowledged Canadian leader in privacy, access to information law and data ethics.
