Osler congratulates Insolvency and Restructuring partner Kathryn Esaw on being recognized by The International Insolvency Institute as part of its 2022 NextGen Leadership Program. The program was established in 2012 to create an informative and valuable environment for younger professionals and academics to liaise with fellow members.

The International Insolvency Institute is a non-profit, limited-membership organization dedicated to advancing and promoting insolvency as a respected discipline in the international field. Its primary objectives include improving international co-operation in the insolvency area and achieving greater co-ordination among nations in multinational business reorganizations and restructurings. The Institute's membership is drawn from the most senior and respected insolvency practitioners, judges and academics in the world.

Kathryn is a partner in Osler’s Insolvency and Restructuring group. Her practice focuses on proceedings under the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act and the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act throughout Canada. She has represented debtors, court officers, creditors, purchasers and lenders. Kathryn also has experience in restructurings under the Canada Business Corporations Act.
