Osler has been accepted as a new member of the Open Cap Table Coalition, a cross-industry group that works to improve the interoperability, transparency, and portability of startup capitalization data.
“We are thrilled to announce that Osler is now a proud member of the Open Cap Table Coalition. Given our vast experience in this area, we believe that this will provide us with the opportunity to collaborate with fellow key industry players on the future format of the cap table and provide significant input,” says Chad Bayne, Co-Chair of the Emerging and High Growth Companies Group at Osler. “Our goal is to assist all equity holders. Given the current constellation of impressive OCT members, we are confident that together we can work towards making impactful changes that will truly benefit all ecosystem players.”
The coalition was officially founded in July 2021 and members include top law firms, VC firms, and equity management platforms.
