Osler is pleased to announce that Sivan Fox has joined the firm as Incoming General Counsel. She will succeed Terry Burgoyne as General Counsel of Osler upon his retirement from that role at the end of 2022.
Sivan has more than 25 years of experience as a corporate lawyer. She began her career with Osler, working as a corporate lawyer in the firm’s Toronto office. Prior to rejoining Osler in her new position, Sivan held roles as a public company general counsel and corporate secretary, primarily in the financial services, investment management, resources and banking sectors. In those roles, her responsibilities included managing and overseeing all aspects of the legal function, as well as matters related to corporate governance and regulatory and reputational risks.
Her experience also includes serving on several corporate and charitable boards as a director, and she continues to be active with several non-profit boards.
