Lorraine Lynds joins Osler’s Corporate group in Toronto as a partner

Osler welcomes Lorraine Lynds to the Corporate group as a partner.

Lorraine’s practice primarily focuses on corporate and securities law, with an emphasis on investment management and securities regulatory matters. Lorraine has advised issuers, distributors and institutional investors with respect to ETFs, hedge funds, mutual funds, private equity funds and managed account arrangements. With significant wealth management experience, she advises dealers, advisors and fund managers on strategic initiatives and on their compliance obligations under Canada’s securities registration rules including overseeing business, operational, risk and compliance matters. She also has experience in mergers and acquisitions involving financial services firms and in investment fund mergers and restructurings.

She previously completed her articles and was an associate at Osler. Before returning to the firm, Lorraine was Assistant General Counsel at a leading multinational financial institution.
