Osler recognized in the GRR 100 for the 5th consecutive year

Jan 13, 2022

Osler is once again recognized in the GRR 100 list for the fifth consecutive year. The annual list published by Global Restructuring Review ranks the world’s leading law firms that consistently display outstanding cross-border insolvency and restructuring expertise.

Global Restructuring Review determines its rankings based on an extensive research process that includes a series of detailed questionnaires sent to hundreds of law firms around the world.  These questionnaires seek to capture the history of all firm’s restructuring and insolvency practices, notable past cases, key names, and any other characteristics worth highlighting. GRR also utilizes the firm’s facts and figures which includes the number of cross-border cases on each firm’s books, the value of debt it restructured, its billable hours, and a list of the “Top 10” matters it worked on during a research period from January 1, 2021, to December 31, 2021.

This ranking upholds Osler as a leading insolvency and restructuring practice in Canada. Being included in the GRR 100 follows a series of honours we have earned in 2022, including recognition by Chambers Canada, Chambers Global, IFLR1000 Canada, The Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory, Best Lawyers, The Legal 500, Who’s Who Legal and Benchmark Litigation. Osler’s Insolvency and Restructuring Practice Group is consistently recognized by leading industry publications for its wide-ranging and top-tier legal expertise in resolving the most compelling business challenges. The group’s team-based, multi-disciplinary approach enables it to deliver innovative and integrated solutions for complex business-critical matters.
