On August 13, 2026, Alliance de l’énergie de l’Est s.e.c., together with its project partners Kruger Energy Inc. and Potentia Renewables Inc., secured a $521-million syndicated financing for the Saint-Paul-de-Montminy wind farm project located in Saint-Paul-de Montminy and Sainte-Appoline-de Patton, Québec. The financing was led by Mouvement Desjardins and KfW IPEX-Bank.
The Saint-Paul-de-Montminy wind farm is being developed through Saint-Paul-de-Montminy Wind Farm Inc., a joint venture between Alliance de l’énergie de l’Est s.e.c., Kruger Energy Inc. and Potentia Renewables Inc. The project is expected to contribute to Québec’s renewable energy infrastructure and support the province’s growing demand for clean electricity generation.
