On December 9, 2019, EcoPackers completed its $4.3 million seed round led by Golden Ventures and Horizons Ventures. The funding will be used to hire engineers to create products that meet the requirements of EcoPackers’ partner companies while maintaining its 100% compostable mandate. The funding will also finance the launch of new products and aid in the company’s goal of eliminating 20,000 tonnes of plastic waste over the next 5 years.
