On September 3, 2026, Hut 8 (Nasdaq; TSX), based in Miami, announced the sale of its Canadian managed cloud business to private equity firm Crest Rock Partners via its affiliate, Opti9 Technologies. The deal was a complex carve-out transaction, while maintaining Hut 8’s data centre and colocation businesses in Canada.
