On September 21, 2021, PhenoTips, formerly Gene42, announced it has completed its $2.5 million venture financing led by GreenSky Accelerator Fund IV and included participation from the Toronto Innovation Acceleration Partners, Thin Air Labs, Yorkville Partners and undisclosed angel investors. The proceeds from the funding will be used to bring PhenoTips’ offering to hospitals and health systems in Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom and Europe. The funding will also be used scale its offering with new hospital healthcare provider and research customers, and to grow its team.
PhenoTips is a Toronto-based software firm focused on its electronic health record designed for genetics.
