On April 16, 2026, SBQuantum announced that it closed an oversubscribed US$4-million Seed financing led by Quantonation and Quantacet, with participation from Investissement Québec. The financing represents the company’s first private investment and will support the expansion of its team, the development of its products and its commercial growth in Canada and the United States.
SBQuantum is a Sherbrooke-based quantum sensing company that develops diamond-based quantum magnetic sensors and magnetic mapping solutions for navigation, public safety and defence applications. Its technology can support positioning in GPS-denied environments and the detection and classification of security threats.
