Gillian Scott, Associate, Litigation, is presenting a plenary session at the CFA Franchise Law Day on January 31, 2013. This session, titled “Legal and Legislative Update” takes place at The Old Mill, Toronto, ON from 3:40 p.m. to 4:45 p.m.
The full day seminar, Bridging Business and the Law, takes place from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Gillian will be providing (along with a partner from Cassels Brock & Blackwell LLP) the CFA’s annual update on changes to Canadian franchise laws and the important legal decisions interpreting those laws. The update will be business-focused, with the goal of providing franchisors and franchisor counsel with practical tips on how these developments may impact operations and relationships with franchisees.
