Overview

In the era of the empowered customer, a well-coordinated “all-hands-on-deck” effort is critical to ensure your advertising practices and pricing tactics are in accordance with the Consumer Protect Act in Quebec and defeat allegations to the contrary.

Join us on Tuesday February 7th for a 1 hr seminar to learn from our recent experience representing Enterprise in the case Prince v. Avis Budget Group Inc., a successful contestation of an application to authorize a class action in Quebec.

Specifically, through the lens of our experience on the Enterprise case, we will examine:

  • Rewards reaped when valid efforts are made to understand and comply with the applicable legislation

  • Solutions that can be set forth by a defendant to ensure compliance

  • Steps to take in contesting authorization and what you need to know to do it effectively
