Join Osler for a virtual seminar with Tee Garnett, a human rights advocate and a trailblazer for institutional equity, diversity and inclusion.
Tee Garnett is SickKids’ Executive Lead and Strategic Advisor, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI). A Black, queer and non-binary person, Tee approaches EDI issues from an intersectional and human rights-focused perspective.
Drawing upon both life and professional experiences, Tee frequently speaks about the institutionalization of discrimination and how individuals and institutions alike can create safer and braver spaces for everyone. Tee’s ability to seamlessly transfer knowledge on these important topics is strengthened by more than two decades of developing and facilitating EDI and human rights-based workshops for academic institutions, hospitals, governments, NGOs, and not-for-profit or grassroots organizations.
Tee’s presentations provide a pathway for implementing change, and for building diverse and inclusive spaces. Join us for this important conversation.
