On June 5, 2018, AVA Technologies announced that it has completed its seed round of up to $2.6 million. The round was led by Vanedge Capital.
AVA Technologies is a Vancouver-based start up company and plans to use the capital raised from the seed round for the retail launch of AVA Byte, billed as the first indoor smart garden that aims to disconnect people from plastic-packaged produce and reconnect them with food using pre-seeded plant pods that are integrated with a mobile device app.
