On May 17, 2022, Behaviour Interactive Inc., Canada’s largest independent video game studio, announced its acquisition of Seattle, Washington-based Midwinter Entertainment, Inc. from the game developer’s UK owner, metaverse technology company Improbable Worlds Limited. Known for their work on several genre-defining games, Midwinter’s team of approximately 30 became officially part of Behaviour Interactive on June 2, 2022.
