On May 26, 2019, CIBC acted as lenders to Arjun Infrastructure Partners and Fengate Asset Management who, with the consent of the Government of Ontario, acquired ONroute Service Centres (“ONroute”) a chain of 23 service plazas and rest areas located across Ontario from HMSHost and Kilmer. HMSHost and Kilmer were originally awarded the ONroute P3 Project in 2010, under a 50-year concession agreement to design, build and operate 23 ONroute service centres along Ontario’s 400 series highways.
