On December 08, 2022, Cordoba and JCHX entered into definitive agreements in respect of JCHX’s acquisition of up to a 50 percent of Cordoba Minerals’ Alacran Project stake for total cash consideration of up to USD$100 million. Cordoba and JCHX will jointly develop Alacran as joint venture partners with Cordoba acting as operator. The Alacran Project is expected to be the largest copper mine in Colombia and was declared to be a “Project of National Interest” by the Colombian government.

Cordoba is a mineral exploration company focused on the exploration, development and acquisition of copper and gold projects. Cordoba is developing its 100%-owned San Matias Copper-Gold-Silver Project, which includes the Alacran deposit and satellite deposits at Montiel East, Montiel West and Costa Azul, located in the Department of Cordoba, Colombia.
