On July 29, 2020, Information Services Corporation (ISC) announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, ESC Corporate Services Ltd. (ESC) has executed a purchase agreement to acquire Paragon Inc. for $70 million. The acquisition of Paragon’s assets will strengthen ESC’s offering and will allow ESC to provide its clients with a complete solution to the credit life cycle from origination to recovery. The transaction is consistent with ISC’s long term strategy to acquire companies that possess competencies or operations within its industry space.

Information Services Corporation is the parent company of ESC Corporate Services. ISC is the leading provider of registry and information management services for public data and records and is focused on solutions that manage, secure and administer information through its Registry and Services segments.

Paragon is a technology enabled company focused on facilitating and coordinating asset recovery on behalf of many of Canada’s regulated banks.
