On February 26, 2019, CmdWatch Security, Inc. (Cmd) announced the completion of its US$15 million Series B financing round, led by Google Ventures (GV). The transaction included participation from Amplify Partners, returning investor Expa Labs, and additional strategic investors. Cmd will use the proceeds to grow its product and engineering teams as it continues to develop new defensive capabilities for its core platform.

GV operates as an venture capital arm of Alphabet Inc. specializing in growth capital, start-ups, early, seed, growth stage, mid stage, and late stage investments.  

Cmd, based out of Vancouver, develops security platforms that provide control and visibility into production workloads in the Cloud and on premise to organizations.
