On September 25, 2019, Verafin, the world’s largest financial crime management software company, announced the completion of a $515 million equity and debt recapitalization. New equity financing was provided by Spectrum Equity’s current investing fund and Information Venture Partners’ (IVP) new fund with participation by new backers Northleaf Capital Partners, BDC Capital and Teralys Capital. The recapitalization allows Verafin to pursue its growth plans while remaining an independent company.

IVP is a team of experienced venture capital investors is intimately acquainted and exclusively focused on investing in B2B FinTech and Enterprise SaaS companies selling to financial services.
