On February 14, 2017, Chan Zuckerberg Initiative LLC completed the acquisition of all of the outstanding equity in the capital of Meta Inc. Meta is an artificial intelligence company specializing in big data analysis of scientific and technical literature. This is the first acquisition for the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative.
