On October 14, 2020, Provision Analytics Inc. completed its acquisition of Crop Boss farm management software from Platinum Agricultural Solutions for a combination of cash and equity. Following the deal, Crop Boss will be known as Provision Producer.
Provision Analytics Inc., a Calgary-based food safety software startup, was founded in 2018 and currently employs approximately 20 staff. The startup’s software automates food safety processes and links granular process data with production results, generating analytics that reduce food loss and quality deviations.
Crop Boss was created by a grain farmer to address the inefficiencies of typical farm management.
